PROGRAMME D'ÉTÉ POUR  LE RENFORCEMENT DES  COMPÉTENCES DES JEUNES DES RÉGIONS DU SUD

The summer program initiated by the Learning Centers of Phosboucraa Foundation aims to strengthen the skills of young people from Southern Regions, aged over 18. By offering training in key areas such as learning English, personal development, communication skills, entrepreneurship awareness, photography and CCB (Creative Capacity Building) workshops. This program provides participants with an opportunity to develop their skills and prepare for the future.

The summer program fits perfectly with the ambition of Phosboucraa Foundation Learning Centers, which aims to strengthen the skills of young people. With a focus on soft skills and entrepreneurship, this program offers participants a real-world overview of the skills needed to succeed in the professional world. With 173 participants trained and 143 workshops organized, the “Summer School” program launched a great summer dynamic with local communities.

A fun and interactive educational approach

As part of the summer program, several workshops were designed to promote active learning and participant involvement. Work in subgroups and action training activities allow complete immersion in the topics covered. Pitches and simulations are also organized to put the acquired skills into practice.

Promote fulfillment and empowerment

The summer program helps to strengthen the skills of young people from Southern Regions, which promotes their employability and autonomy. By developing skills in English, communication, entrepreneurship and photography, participants are better prepared to seize professional opportunities. These enhanced skills have a positive impact on local communities by promoting economic and social development.

The Summer Program contributes to meeting SDG 4 - Quality Education, by offering training focused on skills development. Additionally, by encouraging entrepreneurship and environmental awareness, it supports SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth, as well as SDG 13 – Action to combat climate change.
