Programme women entrepreneurship

Pour une autonomisation économique des femmes par l'entrepreneuriat

Women Entrepreneurship

As part of its commitment to gender equality and inclusive economic development, the Phosboucraa Foundation is continuing its Women Entrepreneurship program. This project mainly targeted women aged 18 to 45, who have not benefited from advanced education and who live in a precarious situation in the absence of income-generating economic activity.
Aiming to guarantee better socio-economic integration for the target, the Women Entrepreneurship program builds on entrepreneurial training and comprehensive support for women in the Laayoune -Sakia El Hamra region and the region of Dakhla, Oued-Eddahab in order to significantly improve their skills.

Launched in October 2022, the Women Entrepreneurship program aims to improve the situation of women in difficulty by offering them sustainable economic opportunities. Through a tailor-made training course, the program contributes to the efficient and practical strengthening of entrepreneurial capacities among women with projects, or project ideas in Southern Regions of Morocco.

The program encourages them to create income-generating activities in the formal sector, thus allowing them to meet their needs and guarantee their financial autonomy. By equipping women with financial education and encouraging innovation and creativity, Women Entrepreneurship promotes their personal and professional development.

A 3-axis approach that promotes learning by doing

In order to better support women in Southern Regions, the Phosboucraa Foundation has implemented an approach that promotes action-based learning, simulations and project-based learning. The training program includes modules on innovation, financial management and entrepreneurship.

Thus, the means of intervention of Learning Centers is structured around three essential components which target three key levels of development among beneficiary women:

1. soft skills: This involves helping women discover and make the most of their skills and personal qualities to strengthen their self-confidence and self-esteem.
2. Know-how: Women are encouraged to develop professional and technical skills to strengthen their economic culture and develop their ability to manage their own businesses. They are encouraged to explore new ideas and test innovative solutions to solve the challenges they face in their professional and personal lives.

3. Knowing how to act: The beneficiary women are introduced to business management, financial management, communication and negotiation to strengthen their ability to carry out their entrepreneurial project.
