Closing of Science Week

Science Week in Laâyoune, in partnership with UM6P - ASARI, came to a close last Saturday, with 1,244 participants, 16 speakers & trainers and more than 10 schools involved. 
 

  

The week's schedule was full of activities centered on the theme "Transition(s)": 
- Conferences to popularize issues linked to scientific and educational transitions;
- Visits to ASARI laboratories benefiting students from schools in Laâyoune;
- Robotics and coding workshops in 3 Laâyoune high schools: August 14, Ibn Zohr and January 11, as well as in the Phosboucraa Foundation Learning Center;
- Entrepreneur/researcher workshops on ideation and co-design;
- Meetings with inspiring young people, including a young student from Laâyoune at the 1337 school;
- Science-related field experiences, such as “Vis ma vie de chercheur” (Live my life as a researcher) or immersion in the planetarium;
- Cultural documentary film screenings.
