AN INNOVATIVE TEACHING APPROACH TO DEVELOP KNOWLEDGE AND SOFT SKILLS AMONG HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

SPONSORSHIP OF HIGH SCHOOLS

The Phosboucraa Foundation, in partnership with Association Sahara Astronomie, launched a high school sponsorship program in Laayoune aimed at promoting academic excellence and opening new perspectives for high school students. This innovative program provides an interactive and stimulating learning experience, based on an innovative educational approach combining sciences, arts and personal development.

IN THE REGION OF LAAYOUNE -SAKIA EL HAMRA FOR A SUSTAINABLE SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT

STRENGTHENING TEXTILE COOPERATIVES

The project to support textile cooperatives in the region of Laayoune -Sakia El Hamra, carried out in partnership with Act4Community and the Higher School of Textile and Clothing Industries (ESITH), was launched in May 2022 following an assessment of the needs of cooperatives. This tailored initiative aims to train and equip cooperatives to improve their professionalism, their products quality and increase their profitability. Among the 20 cooperatives selected, 85% are women-led cooperatives, demonstrating the commitment to women's economic empowerment.

A DOUBLE APPROACH FOR SUSTAINABLE USE

VALORIZATION OF RED ALGAE IN SOUTHERN REGIONS

Two exciting projects aimed at promoting red algae in the Southern Region are being carried out by UM6P-ASARI in collaboration with the Phosboucraa Foundation and Seaweed Company. These initiatives highlight the exceptional potential of these marine plants in terms of biological, agronomic and environmental wealth. By focusing on the collection and valorization of algae, these projects offer economic development opportunities while contributing to sustainable solutions for the production of biofertilizers and bioenergy.
