Serving the community is the top priority for the Phosboucraa Foundation. The community is at the center of all the Foundation programs and operations, including its learning platforms, that since the corona virus outbreak have been playing an important role supporting the community and raising awareness to face the pandemic.
In early March, as COVID-19 began spreading around the world and Morocco prepared to enter a nation-wide shutdown, the Phosboucraa Foundation took immediate action to accelerate the digital transformation of its Learning Centers. Moving their popular programs and training courses online, the Phosboucraa Foundation not only avoided interruption of services but actively contributed to awareness-raising of communities at a regional level, with virtual information sessions held through social media platforms. A testament to the hard work of the Phosboucraa Foundation, is the national acclaim that the “L’Formation Men Darek” or “Training from Home” initiative drew as Morocco’s top ten distance-learning programs.
Boosted by the success of digital transition, the Phosboucraa Foundation rushed to enhance its services by launched a rich agenda of virtual programming on its Learning Centers’ social media platforms. With almost 120 virtual webinars, reaching more than 2 700 beneficiaries and gaining more than a quarter of a million views on social media, the Phosboucraa Foundation has expanded its services beyond its Centers’ beneficiaries to include other groups of the local community. The high quality of the virtual programming and the expertise of speakers hosted, whether specializing in sustainable development, business, culture, social work, are behind the success of the Foundation’s initiative and the community trust.
The Phosboucraa Foundation is always committed to mobilize all its resources to serve local communities, facing each challenge with the agility and creativity needed.
