Our Dakhla Learning Center was glad to host 13 VIP visitors from the Crans Montana Forum to learn about our programs and meet some of the community.
In March 2017, Dakhla hosted of one of the most important international events in Africa, the Crans Montana Forum, which works to promote south-south cooperation and the development of Africa and its integration with the world.
During this major event, the work presented by Phosboucraa Foundation was of interest to the numerous people and organizations participating in the forum from all over the world. A program was set for 13 participants to visit the Learning Center in Dakhla. Welcomed by the Learning Center staff members as well as the beneficiaries, our guests were amazed by the diversity of the programs offered to communities. They not only observed activities, but they even took part in some of them. In an informal atmosphere, visitors spent half a day with the beneficiaries discussing how the Center taught them new skills and changed their lives.
Our young beneficiaries were proud to present themselves and to answer the questions of their VIP guests like Mrs. Elisabeth Guigou, former French justice Minister, and her husband; Mrs Joan Guriras, spouse of the former Prime Minister of Namibia; and Mrs. Eunide Innocent, Ministry of Women’s Affairs of Haiti… They were happy to show their ability for public speaking, their English fluency, and their ambition to make their future brighter.
The visit ended with a concert by Dakhla Learning Center beneficiaries, singing a song of hope and happiness!
